Frequently asked questions
How is the unit detected?
Values with up to 11 digits are treated as seconds, 12–14 digits as milliseconds and 15–17 digits as microseconds. You can override the guess.
What about the year 2038 problem?
JavaScript uses 64-bit numbers for dates, so this tool handles dates far beyond 2038. Systems that store seconds in signed 32-bit integers overflow on 19 January 2038.
